Who's good for getting it done in the Wilmslow/Manchester area?
Is this one for Stu & Kennys' place even though there in Blackpool?

Its not a new, new 5 series but a couple of years old. Also not sure if its true that when you put it back into BMW for a service that they reset the map to how it left the factory How does that stand if BM do that and you want it back to how it was?

Any decent relevant info muchio appreciated

I'm sure you could request for them not too reset it, after all it is your car. As for who to remap it, find one of MSD's remapping specialists through there dealer network and your in business.

I always assumed they wouldn't be as good as MSD; after reading up on them I've found you would be better having a map out of your A-Z than from Chipped UK.

its very true, depends what software version your car is running, and if they have made any improvements on it! but like said you can always ask them not to reflash it!

 

DMS is very good for them and Emaps too which is doing mine Nath. Plus with these companys any probs and they will reinstall for free.


Its a pain Stu is so far away etc

Rhys, who are DMS and what sort of price do they do it for.

My sister was on about some place that were doing it for about £300. There the ones that mentioned that BM could as Gareth says reflash it. If they had to come out again they'd charge £25.....
