also did you let go of the lc button the second you dumped the clutch in that vid?

what kind of boost are you seeing on the line and at what revs?

Switch the als/lc on, lift and hold the car on the handbrake, press down clutch select gear(in mine 1st for show off launch or 2nd for more grip) press throttle to the floor(mine then sits at 3700-4000rpm making 0-2psi of boost stood still(with mountune TB and ISCV).
Lift up the clutch(try to bring the clutch close to the bite before dumping as to very slightly load up transmission so it shouldn't smash to bits at launch) and drop the handbrake, job done nice set of 11's.

T38s don't give the mega mid-range torque that T34s do, so it will be some 30-40lb ft down here (peaking at a max of 360-370lb ft), but giving more power at the top-end (by a similar amount when mapped to it's full potential). This is great for traction (as you have found) and for protecting 4x4 gearboxes, but not much fun for being a hooligan, as the power curve becomes completely linear.

dont get me wrong, i want traction off the line but the car really bogs down with the lc.

in fact i took out the evo yesterday (280 bhp) , put a mate in it and i can more or less take it off the line .

loader... your car sounds like its making alot more than 1-2 psi on the line
or is it just my hearing

im having major boost issues to so maybe thats not helping.

having only ever had boost controllers on my cars, i dont know much about the amal valve .

is this correct? left port to actuator, middle port to comp housing and right hand port to atmosphere?

Cossierich, know what your saying, but I still have a std diff atm so slippy road tyres are a bit kinder on it. That was a 1st gear launch which is just for hooliganism, 2nd gear gives more traction, though I'm not really into quarter mile/drag so I not to fussed. Tell the truth I only had the L/C as it was chucked in on a deal with Als and live map etc. wouldn't of had it if it had cost proper money.

Saphcos, sorry my bad 1-2psi is als on idle. In that vid there its around 13 psi at launch.
