Where the fook is the shutdown button!? I have to log off as a user then click the shutdown button, is there a way from the Start Menu I can just shut the fucking PC down!?

Also I have all my Favourites stored in a folder in My Docs on my new Pc, transferred from my old PC, how do I add these to the list so I can just click the yellow star, Top left and access my favourites as links?

Help please, Vista is somewhat pissing me off!

Thanks.

yeh
click on start, then there is a button or arrow that gives you roughly 4 options.

other than that, just pull the power out the back of the tower, as thats all vista deserves anyway

so you have the top third of the little box of options....

strange

press the red standby button and see if it goes into sleep mode.

alternatively go into control panel, go to classic view and select power options. then on the left click "choose what the power buttons do" and then set it so when you press the power button on your PC it shuts down.

Dan, I reckon its something to do with it being ex display. they dont want just anyone switching the machine off whilst its on display.

I could be wrong.

Vista is shit! ive got it on new PC and hacked off with it after only 2 weeks.

Anyone got a copy of XP???

LOL

Dan, I would run the factory restore program as this pc will have had all the sales demo stuff put on it and that effects power management settings and they may not have put the demo account as an administrator one. What make of PC is it?
