there are a few issues with using them as main beams as flashiing them can cause them to fuck up, but there are lots of bits of info on most of the sellers listings to explain what's what
i have them on mine, one of the best mods ive ever done, and i will keep them and put them on my next car aswell aslong as its h4 lol
mine are 8k versions, and the full beam they go to normal yellow lights as they have another bulb built into them for it, though the hid are brighter than full beam lol

Swap the 2 outer wires round on the H4 plug and remove the brown relay @ the back right of the fusebox and it will be fine.
They mess up on flashing because the dim-dip tries to get involved, plus where they are wired slightly different, it messes with the circuit.
Looks nice, but not on a saph imo. Its like you put Ford T wheels (don't know if you can find them now) on a Ford GT. Different era, and xenon doesn't suit the sapphire. Well it is IMO so don't bash me
they do generally have a crap beam pattern, but it's only a 2 minute job to change the HID bulb back to a normal H4 and plug the connector back on (except on cossies with air boxes as it's a bitch to change a bulb without removing the headlamp assembly )
mine were not a kit, they were OE from a car, were an absolute pig to do, as i wanted a factory finish, and i got it, work better than any after market kit i've seen.
P.S its not just the bulbs, its everything in there.
