please help me,

got sum white dials that came on my turbo,but put all runnin gear into 3i shell,the clocks in the 3i are different,fuel gauge and temp are the other way around ,dont think the clocks worked ,why would this not work, any help please cheers rob

the clocks should work as i done the same coversion years ago with the same clocks,just plugged them in and they were fine.

ok mate ,wen my mate did sum work on car and put em on and sure dint work wil try myself

If they dont work but they did in the rs then just swap the pins over for fuel and temp job done.

The pins are identical on both early (fuel on right) and late (fuel on left) clocks.

The difference was purely for telling the fuel level without the ignition turned on. The sender in the tank is different as well as the later ones have a ballast in them to help prevent fuel surge giving inaccurate readings.
