Simons wheels were "final speed" ones, basically a cheap copy of an evo 9 wheel.

Poor ole Jim, diva and Mike..... feel gutted for you guys ... but you lot are all in one piece so i guess that is the main thing!



Well..... Percy... Porkie and me made it home safely...... Just.........


After Catching up with Ryan and the gang on Friday morning on the ferry... we had a steady bimble up to the ring..... Porkie was asleep 98% of the way... the most memorable bit being when i pulled up next to Mike and mouthed 'i'm bored' so off we went on a140/150mph jaunt for a few miles!

After several refuelling and wee stops ( sorry ryan i just know you would want to know when i needed a wee! ) we all pulled up at Mikes hotel and stretched our legs and said hello to the dishcloth dog

Porkie, stu, zoe, daisy and myslef all headed back up to our hotel which was about 20 minutes away... with THE most amzing twisty roads you have ever seen!! God only knows how the Porsches front splitter didnt scrape going down those hills i will never know!

EscCosRacer sorted out our rooms for us, thank you buddy Me and Porkie thought we were in the attick room when we got there but eventually realised we had the waterbed room and a tiny single bed in a spare room... which is where Lee actually spent most of his sleeping time!

Had a lovely meal down stairs with stu and zoe, and got all ready for an early start to go watch some racing!

So, saturday am we went along and watched some of the racing, and i have to say i have MUCH admiration for some of these guys, they must have balls of steel to drive the way they do!!

After watching that we ended up meeting up with the rest of the rabble..... Michael threw his keys to Porkie, and Vice Versa... so went out for a play in the porsches.... then i drove and had a FAB play with michael in his Porsche! THANK YOU! I sooooooooooooo enjoyed that little blat we had!!

Then we headed back to the ring, as it finally opened at 6pm and it was MANIC! I mean MENTAL STUPID BUSY! Porkie and stu managed to go out for a lap in the porsche, while me and Zoe supped a nice beer, while baby daisy was flirting with all the bikers!

Then the infamous hot stone gathering happened! Thank you Michael for organising it!! The food was Incredible! And Porkie actually managed to get 99% of it in his mouth rather than down his front!

We eventually got to bed about 3am!

Porkie and i managed to get one lap of the ring in each on Saturday morning.... i tried to go offroad, and on to the grand prix track then porkie told me that was the wrong way anyway... off i trundled for the rest of the lap!!! And i just have to say a MASSIVE MASSIVE thank you to Porkie for being so bloody brave and letting me take the Porsche round!!!

Then to the offroading centre!! Initially i soooooooooooooo didnt want to do it... ewwww. dust... dirt..... but Porkie stuck his bottom lip out, and i eventually jumped in the car.... WHAT A HOOT! my boobs nearly gave me two black eyes from all the friggin bouncing around, but was definitely worth it!! Using the jeeps as make shift bumper cars was sooooo much better though!

Porkie was itching to get back to the ring... so we headed off... after the queing, we manage to get on, and then half way round the lap we hear a massive WHOOOOOOOOSHHHHH... poor ole percy blew a boost pipe We knew he had an ickle boost leak from when we ran him at brunters, but nothing was done about it... well he finally decided to spit his dummy out and tell us he wasnt having it anymore! So Porkie sulked, and between me, Mike R and Ryan I found somewhere to have a quick look at him to see if there was anything that could be done.... needeless to say they just stood there drooling over the car rather than trying to fix it!!

So.... i drive back to tell lee theres bugger all that can be done, then Mr German man from the off roading centre was at the ring and says 'i tink i know a fwend zat may fix ze pwoblem'' This friend was a mechanic at Zackspeed!! so... off to Zackspeed percy goes.... Parked next to the viper.... percy goews up on two wheels, with Diva with his head underneath him, and the zackspeed dude with his head under the boot! Needless to say..... percy wasnt fixed.....

Sod it.... our tummys were talking to us at this point... so we head back to the room for a shower in a can... ( rank i know but we were already late! ) and head out to meet the gang at Pinnochios the pizza place!

Never in my life have i been to such a disorganised restaurant.... ..... but had to forgive them because the food was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good! and for 20 euros each it was incredible value!!

Then up early this morning, to limp poor ole percy home needless to say we discovered he can do 110mph with NO boost whatso ever and then we discovered when we were about 10 minutes from home, we shouldnt of been driving him at all! oooooops. But he got us home!! He did so so so so well! Thank you Percy!

But a huge thank you to everyone who made the trip what it was.... I am so pleased there was a bunch of us, and it was so so nice to put some names to faces at long last!

But the BIGGEST thank you has to go to Porkie..... thank you thank you thank you for making my First ever Nurburg trip an unforgettable one! You spoilt me rotten, you let me drive your car.... quite fast.... and you didnt even moan when i kicked you out in to the spare room when you were snoring!! so thank you! thank you thank you thank you!!

Lastly well done to Percy. I KNEW you would get us home. Well over 100mph all the way and had us home by 3... not bad considering we were supposed to be on the 4pm ferry hahahah

Neils car is running on 3 cylinders...the GT2, think its possibley an electrical fault.

jims car has done the engine on its last lap.

and a certain persons car has been totalled,not for me to say here,as long as you are ok.

By "running on 3" do you mean only one head is firing, or is that just a generic term you are using for a misfire (ie 5 or less running in this case)

 

yes standard cranks have been known to snap, but this isnt a standard one

 

who crashed then?
