it never ceases to amaze me how many obese kids there are at the swimming baths etc, but looking at how many kids you see stuffing their faces with takeaway foods and hearing people say " my so and so wont eat anything " its no wonder.
I for one think its a must kids are educated what they should and shouldnt be eating, im quite a strict parent as to what my kids can eat ( mainly due to the fact i know their father doesnt give a shit and doesnt care if they eat sweets for breakfast
)
If the parents are undereducated what chance does the child have? it really annoys me that the parents blame metabolism etc when they freely allow their kids to stuff their faces with shit everyday

Murderers. What's more so annoying is the fact that it takes someone outside of the family to tell them they are killing there children. And that father who wasn't keen on the new diet, he shouldn't be allowed kids full stop.

Some of you are full of shit.
Metabolism has been PROVED over a 10 YEAR study in the states to play a MAJOR part in some people, not all, but some ARE that way, this is due to the FAMINE effect.
My lad eats NO maccy d's or other food out at all ever anywhere, he does eat HEALTHY at home, not a lot either.
He does get exercise, cycles at least 10 hours a week, Ju Jitsu three times a week, swimming twice a week, squash twice a week, but is still overweight.
It is NOT as easy as just saying the parents, society and shit comments from retards on here don't help others esteem, so they comfort eat.
The only reason my lad can enjoy these activities is because we travel everywhere, as our town has jack shit in the way of things to do for kids, as a lot of other places, urban scrawl is killing play areas, kids have a hard enough life these days without not being able to go play in a park or somewhere, all our land is being given over to housing around here, 10 years ago we had in this area/town 4700 people, now we have 19,708 at the last count, so they helped by closing the pool/youth club/skate park/rec field/cubs/scouts/guides etc etc.
The reason society is going this way is because of the life changes FORCED upon us, the HUMAN body was never designed to eat like the way we do, 3 square meals a day, what crap, in an ideal world it would be a small handful every two hours or so, like our ancestors did whilst hunting for food.
Crap like fast food has a lot to answer for, as some parents I know have no effective alternative due to being worked into the ground by the government taxes etc, they are lucky to see thier kids, but some really are just bad.
Don't just assume FAT means unfit either, they do NOT have to be partners, I do gym 5/6 days a week/swimming as well twice a week, but as with any activity it is money money money having to be paid out all the time.
I spend over £200 a month on activities, each and every month.
If the powers that be were serious about this problem, they would make more space available for kids to play, FREE sports activities for all as well.
