ok

im having some fun and games with this car today

ive just bypassed the oil modine as im having some problems

but now since its all fitted back up the car wont fire up

i can get it to tickover about 300 rpm with the tps disconnected or idsv

but as soon as i hit the throttle it cust out

its really annyoing me now, ive gone through everything in the engine made sure evry connector is dry etc

and still nothing

its that low it wont charge the battery as the light stays on and i carnt get full oil pressure

could anyone shed some light on what else i can check please

sounds like you MIGHT of knocked the map sensor pipe off?


Edit: or plug to the sensor?

nope all fine mate

did think of that

but as soon as i touch the thottle it dies

for some reason this rings a bell, sure when i saw this happen it was an air leak..
but may well be wrong.

all other vac pipes etc ok?

yep

everything has been checked, no water in connectiosn or nothing, no air leaks, just wont fire up to tickover and when it does it just dies wether i touch the throttle or connect the tps

is it getting fuel??

phase sensor is close to the modine you have been playing with today!

it ticks over at about 300 rpm, not even enough to get the battery light out or full pil pressure

phase sensor hasnt been touched

alls ive done is took the boost hose off, undo the 2 water pipes off the modine and put a joiner in

i then cleared the header tank out of the gunk, but water did go everywhere, buti made sure everything was dry, i also covered things thatshouldnt get wet before i done the header tank

but now i carnt do shit
