No not really as the bumps and cracks should still be absorbed by the suspension damper and springs unless you have changed those too.

Sorry Tony , But i dont agree , Comp strut kit isnt good for road use ( they were never intended for road use ) without the ARB and TCA bushes it will be ar rough as hell ,

I had the kit fitted to one of my escosses and took it off after 2 days

martins got a car with this set up on a ramp, front mounted arb etc so the owner might be able to tell you how it drives

it will be harsh thats for sure, i've got it on mine but, to be honest, i can live with it

weather someone else can or not is the question

ive run comp strut kits on loads of road cars and had no problems unless the rest of the system is either crap or not setup properly - and more so - incorrectly fitted in the 1st place

you need the arb as otherwise it needs to be run too stiff to be practial for road use mate

think i found why its was crashing and banging

my front tyre was flat and only had 12psi in it

problem is the tyres dont look flat lol

so put some air in it and its so much better, yes ttheres still a couple of knocks when i hit a pot hole or something but other than that i think i can live with it

before it goes for set up im raising the ride height as its just far to low, for some reason while its been off the road its got lower

so this is being done asap, and hopefully it will all be ok again
