Went to Edinburgh Vaults a couple of years ago and took some photos whilst there. When I checked them, some had captured little orb type lights on them. I'll try to find them and will post them up.
Also, when I used to work in Acute Psychiatry, I saw a couple of wheelchairs moving on their own and heard creaking noises from a side room where someone had previously hung themselves.

I've only ever had one proper one;
But when I say fell out, whats erie about it is that it "slid" out sideways, the full 2ft, so it was completely clear of the rack and THEN dropped. Not rolled out as such - it was as if you pulled it out with your own hands, then let go!
Strange!

yes maria your right there definatly is "something", even in the bigger picture. if you thing how small and insignificant our planet is in the universe, and the fact that we have intellegent life forms. statistacally it would be selfish not to think there is something else out there.
intresting... yeh i suppose, never really thought thered be this many people here who also have experienced things.
anyone else got anything intresting,
i have a bit more but right now im not gna say. cos cos people will take the piss (as it borders on psychic feelings) and also everytime i even think about it my eyes just well up, i get hit with this wall of great los/sadness, like i just have a really sad feeling pass through me? oh christ there it is....

Interesting read. Keep them coming. Never had anything happen like that has been described, just the usual cold room/spot and a strong smell of perfume in my old house.

Was at Borley church (near sudbury) (most haunted place in england) a few years back.
LINK please look- http://www.prairieghosts.com/brectory.html
or wickpedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borley_Rectory
picture taken before the fire
as said the rectory burnt down killing many of the servents etc. its thought to stem from when a nun fell in love with a man in the village and they began a relationship. he was burried alive just outside the church grounds (where the rectory fire started) and she was bricked up alive into a wall on the rectory boundries.
All sounds a bit holywoodish, but that place is defo real bad.
anyway was walking in the church yard there and kept geting cold freezing cold patches. real freaked me. but i put it down to conifer trees. as these lined the path every 10 feet. and they must have created a micro climate in the air making it cooler near the tree!
but on the other hand. in my old bathroom where the old lady would shove me. twice a year in the summer, the bathroom would stink of stale ciggerete smoke and old ladies perfume. None of my family smoke or were old ladies!!!
after some research the bathroom used to be a bedroom and the old lady who lived there died in her sleep.
Sorry dont think i can. also my problem is trying to put it into words.

The strangest paranormal experience I've ever had was with my Grandmother who died before I was born, so obviously I never met her. However, there is plenty of photographs for me to know what she looked like.
Anyway, I was in bed one night and couldn't get to sleep even though I was knackered, I was tossing and turning in basic restlessness. As I lay there I decided to roll over onto the side of the bed opposite of where I sleep, when I moved over something made me sit up and be very alert, can't describe the feeling I had, it was like a prescribed plan for me made up by someone else, a plan that I had no control over, one that I followed in a different state of consciousness!
So, as I sat up, I was made to look to my left where my grandmother was standing, she looked whole, complete and just like a real normal human being standing there, she had no facial expression and her body language was nul, her only movement was her eyelids blinking. I was locked into my position and couldn't move, although I believe I would normally act like a big jesse in that kind of situation, I did not feel anything, I had no emotion, feeling or thought, I had no anticipation or expectation, I just new my grandmother was standing there looking at me and I couldn't do anything about it. She stayed there for around three or four minutes I reckon, then out of nowhere I lay back down and went to sleep.
Next morning I didn't react with much intellectual activity, I simply explained to my mum that I seen her mother last night without being hyped about it.
So, a week later my young nephew was staying over, as he does every week on a Saturday, I think he was nearly a year and a half old at the time and didn't have many words in his vocabulary haha! So, we went to bed that night, I was in a deep enough sleep but was wakened by my nephews movement. When I sat up he was sitting at the edge of the bed saying ( while pointing at the spot where I seen my grandmother ) "a woman, a woman". I then lifted him up and brought him into my mum incase it upset him too much.
I've had a few other experience while I've been sleeping too, I'll share later on or so.

I was at my ex-missues house once, middle of winter about mid day and the house was empty and windows shut, her and her mum were firm belivers in ghosts, but her step dad wasn't. infact her mum was just plain nuts, she reckoned she dreamt about 9/11 the night before, exactly the same as it happened.
Well anyway, i was sat at the computer and the missus was doing some uni work when we heard a door banging, about 4 or 5 times, i stoped and said what the fuck was that, the missus calmly said without even looking up from her work 'oh that'll be the ghost, she does stuff like that all the time!! and carryed on with her work!
Me being a total non beliver just shrugged it off and never though anything of it.
My nan and grandad once went on holiday when they were about 40, stopped in some crummy hotel room and my grandad woke up in the middle of the night and saw a figure walk past the end of the bed and through the wall. he never mentioned it to my nan until they got home to which she said 'why didn't you tell me?!' 'well what would you have done if i had' well we would have come straight home!' ' well thats why i dint tell you, i wanted to stay!!!'
the only other one which for me was the wierdest one, was when went on a battlefields tour in 6th form around belgium and france, we visited a mass grave where hundereds and hundereds of people had been buried. it was one of the hottest days i have ever known. this grave was surrouned by a square of big trees with a stone arch that you walked under to get inside. well as you walked through this arch the temperature suddenly changed, from scorching hot to freezing cold, even though you were still in the sun as the sun was right above.
as my ex's step dad said, it's not the dead you need to worry about, its the living.

Well, In 2003 while I was in the RAF, I become a bit of a burden, and kept getting in trouble. It got to the point where I had to get sent to the HM Prison, Colchester, Essex...
Colchester Garrison is built on top of Roman ruins, and can be found here http://www.catuk.org/excavations/garrison/index.html
While I was 'inside', as you can imagine theres not alot to do in your own time being locked down, and a few suggested to do a ouija board when the lights were knocked out! So one night, we're locked up, all in our room, 8 of us. We get the table out, We make a board, and we start... One of us is doing the talking, No ones said anything about no one, and we as you can imagine no nothing about anyone else as we're all from different units from all over the UK that have been sent there.
So there we have it, 8 random lads that know nothing about each other, One room, One table, One cup upside down with all our finger tips on it. No possible way of any of us being able to move it (try it, you'll know what I mean) and as we're doing what we was... It spelling out a name, a name of a lad thats died in WW2,( I noted down the name, so when I came out of the Garrison, I could look it up, and I did.. But at the moment I can't find my the bit of paper )
Now, we're all sat there, In horror of whats going on, This name thats been spelt out, and we all know that the Garrison is built on Roman Ruins, So we think its from there... We all decided to fuck it off, as its got to us a bit, and with no one touching the cup, It flew of the table and landed on the floor! (Plastic cup btw) All of us shout "FUCK THAT" and get in our beds, Something wasn't right, I could tell, As could the others... Some fucked up shit, and something I still think about to this day.
So I believe in ghosts? I don't know.
