Friend of mine has just bought an evo 5 RS from Distinctive cars york, we're going down to pick it up next saturday (10th), he has not paid for the car in full yet obviously, just a £500 deposit. He knows about evo's and the jap scene pretty well, but i just wandered if there is anyone on here that has had experiences with them that can point me in the right direction so i can help him out aswell, before he parts with the rest of the cash.

Yeah thats a perfect excuse, I like your thinking, he's been looking for one for ages but they're pretty hard to come by, most of the ones we've seen advertised are already sold.

Really nice looking car. DCY have a really good reputation for selling quality cars so you shouldnt go far wrong. My 6RS came from there. Only thing with the rs model is find out what brakes are fitted. Standard ones are crap, some have brembos as factory upgrade which are much bettter. Have a spare set in garage if you want to upgrade them.
