Why ??? Tax is a set of finely balanced scales, government spends money and has to earn money somehow (tax).

If you remove taxes somewhere, gvt will have to either, reduce spending (nhs for example), or, increase taxes somewhere else...

So, if you don't pay tax on fuel to get to work, your income tax (or other) will have to go up to make up for it

I really don't understand why people are against paying tax... what you should be against is how tax money is being wasted on stupid initiatives, unnecessary surveys and reports, unnecessary enquiries, unnecessary civil servants, the list goes on...
