How much would this be worth??
A lad on another site is selling this, just wondering what it would be worth as i may put in an offer.

I have a Dell 400 laptop with 20 GB HDD, 256MB RAM, DVDRW, Wireless USB adaptor, ect....
I have been using this laptop for scanning cars for problems (ODB), decoding car radios, mileage correction, autodata, vivid workshop ect...
It has Autodata 3.16 CD3 installed, Vivid workshop, VAG COM, about 25 different radio decoders, over 10 different ODB scanning apps, ODB location pictures, service light reset procedures ect...
This is a mechanics dream PC.
It has a magnesium alloy case so is harder to damage aswell.
All in, the price of this will be repaid in no time, £60 for ODB scanning, £60 for mileage corrention. It could be paid for in a day.
I am looking for offers on this, if i have no reply or sensable offer within a week, it will go on ebay.

Testing the future
the software is not worth a lot. autodata is 2 versions out of date and all the other stuff can be had off ebay for peanuts.
does it come with the leads etc needed for ODB etc?

sorry, no idea on the hardware value. was just trying to give you an idea about the software, which although very useful is not worth a lot (although can easily pay for itself as he says)

You'll be surprised how much of the software you can download for free off the net so the cost of that is not applicable. 20gb hard drive? Not worth anything. I got nearly 40gb of music alone. As said £50 if its got the leads IMHO
