I would give allot of it to Alder Hay Childrens hospital as I believe that is the best childrens hospital in the world. I would also set them up an amazing Hospital Radio and spend my time maintaining it for them whilst doing a show on the Radio myself. I would also continue my plans to go to college and become a Graphics designer and buy into one a respected business. I would also build myself some cars I wish companys would build like a 400bhp RS3 and so on...

I'd sort out family/good friends, get a nice house, some nice cars, etc. I'd still mess with old cars for something to do as i enjoy it. Then probably start a business or race team or something.

as dojj said i wouldn't tell anyone.

i'd buy a reasonable sized house in the country with tennis court/pool and stables to keep my girlfriend busy. also have a large garage with 2 poster ramps etc and several projects on the go with a basement style garage under the workshop.

then buy a small house in town for when out on the piss. tbh i would continue working as a mechanic as i love what i do!

car wise, prob an m5 touring/rs6, tvr, porsche 911 turbo and a few projects to tinker with, quite fancey focus st's in orange. only in estate, cmax shapes!

Move to a sleepy little village in the Eiffel mountains, buy a hotel there and live the dream .

Obviously the hotel would be kitted out with a superb garage that all the hotel guests would have access to (the ramps and tools - NOT the cars ).

I would then invite mates to participate in the regular 24 hr races .

i have considered doing this in the last few months - but i'm not convinced enough in the future of tourist drives at the nordschleife to do it (although the business opportunity from the OEM development side is increasing - for example Aston Martin will be building their own facility there instead of sharing the jaguar/ford one)

And best of all, if you bought it outright for cash, it wouldnt matter if you ever made any money or not really, couple of rooms full for a couple of nights a week would be enough to keep you going if you had no real overheads.

Interesting concept, and some worrying replies from people who plainly have no grasp on reality now, let alone after winning a life changing amount of cash.

I would get some serious independant advice on how best to proceed with investments and banking etc as you could be drawing back around £800K+ PA in interest from that little lot so the interest alone could be utilised as a trust fund for the kids that they couldnt access, or indeed perhaps even know about until they were adults. I would be keen to ensure they still knew the value of money and didnt think they were going to get an easy ride from us just because we were financially stable.

I would next like to think i would ensure all my immediate true friends (Not aquaintances lol) and family were totally debt free and living somewhere decent that was paid for or at least sensibly mortgaged. Then We would buy a nice large farm in a rural location so Nicole could set up a competition yard whilst i would likely buy some decent land a few miles from home and relocate MSD into some purpose built premises and continue working there with Kenny and Will.

Id probably buy an E60 M5 for me and an M6 for Nicole as well. Job Done and plenty cash to spare.

At the moment I'm the happiest I've ever been so while it would be a lovely bonus, I don't think my life would change drastically, I would pack my job in though and work for myself as the company I work for is crap, I would do the same job though as its a challenge and it keeps me out of trouble lol.
