S1 box onto a Zetec?

Just checking..... my gearbox has just gone crunch on my 92 1.8 Zetec Escort. Could I put my S1 box on there temporarily?

(Going on holiday Monday too!

Yea 99% sure they are the same fitment. i think my CTS Stg2 box is based on a S1 casing.
