Cheers mate, Closed Loop entails a chip from MSD and the fitting of a Lambda Sensor into your downpipe, usually a Bosch LS02 one, I think it's something like whilst the engine is below 4psi and above 70deg temps it will run in Lambda 1, basically perfect fuelling, you do need an L8 ECU for the conversion though, full link here:

I did 912 miles at the weekend in my saph and it AVERAGED 30+mpg! This included all the stop starting in traffic and endless miles sat around the 100mph+ mark, and all the higher speeds too!

Go for MSD's Coilpack conversion at the same time then mate! It absolutely transformes the way it drives, FAR better with them!

the chassis rail has punctured thru the bumper ouch!

Lee, Not sure yet mate, i'll see how the Saph goes, might get a diesel this time, but then not sure about that one because of the price of the stuff at the moment!?

Shit luck mate, ole trusty Rover won't be making any visit's up this way any more then, still as said at least it wern't the saff. Even more reason to bring the Saff up here soon
