I think it's legal to sell it, just not legal to use it. Pretty stupid really IMO

Maybe it's like bongs, you can buy them, not illegal to do that, can't help what buyer will do with it.

His advert says its a 1979 T reg but in a reply to a question he says its a 76 model and doesn't have a reg till its been through import, even though the V5 shows it is already registered here?

Something strange here...

try telling that to all the posh cnuts with their E-Type Jags that were all 're-built' during the Classic Car Boom of the 80's & 90's

Or those who bought Works MkI&II Escorts that had been re-shelled 5 and 6 times in their competition lives, they were all on log books....

Or AndyRS who's currently breaking his 500 and selling the shell and ID... the only difference here is the shell is rotten.

Remember, the shell, like the engine, is a component that can be replaced LEGALLY

Christian, I think I preferred the tales of Miss Pottymouth... rather than your 'Community Officer for the DVLA'

Ebay usually remove ads for just ID & tags and no shell.

It is illegal to sell the logbook and ID alone.

Its not technically illegal to sell it but DVLA are within their rights to record the V5 as scrapped.
