i have seen normal bolts been used with no problems but i do understand they special bolts

Nothing , until you ever try to remove them and they snap in the manifold fucking it up , then you have to take the manifold off the head and then they snap , then its a head off and , shit why not re-build the engine while im at it !
All cos you didnt buy the right titanium bolts in the 1st place !
