Hard Cut rev limiter
I have had my omex limiter set to hard cut for a while now, and as you would expect the loud bang when hitting it is very fun, but will it cause any long term damage if I do it too often? Cheers.

As far as im aware that wont work, it is either set to soft or hard, not soft then hard? How will it affect cv joints? Can it cause any top end damage?

YEs indeed, its just the clubman limiter. I Can't personally see how cutting the spark and running rich for a matter of secodns can damage anything too badly?

You can get huge torque reversals on the camshafts, which isn't a good thing.
A rev limiter isn't a toy or a target, lol - it's still preferentially to the alternative though....

just finding my feet
even when you remove the rev limit some engines still have a natural rev limit, my old 1300 escort would never make the factory limit in 4th or 5th gear
ok its fuck all use to this thread but theres never another time ill get to post this pointless bit of infomation
