Default Ford KA tuning?

Got my KA so wondering if it worth doing anything to the Endura-E block?

Is it OK with a proper manifold/exhaust system and filter or am i best off ripping it out and throwing something more tunable in?

Tho it resembles one, its not even a Xflow IIRC so no bits actually swap over, so wouldnt even be able to use them bits.

Its like any engine tho, with custom parts and forced induction you could get 250bhp+ no bother if you tried.

But pointless, if want your Ka to go fast, change the engine, no n/a mods to that engine will make the car any better performing really.

Seen plenty with CVH turbos in, probably the best option too! 200bhp in one of them aint gonna be shy

Cam, exhaust manifold and system (bin the cat), induction kit and chip.
The HCS and Endura-E engines like cam swaps because the standard ones are a pretty low profile.

Dont spend a penny on the endura! unless you can pick up a superchip for £50, they are worth it despite what people will tell you. You'll get your £50 back too as it saves fuel.

Put a 2l zetec in it if you want to use it every day, CVH turbo if you want power easy and cheap. ZVH if you want more power at most cost.

I've got one with a CVH and I use it every day. Its terrible as an every day car, and a riot when you want it to be.

If I take the CVH out and turn it into a weekend toy then I think I'll consider focus RS engine and box.
