where are they based and what like are they for ease of mapping?

think the pro -x?

go tech are south african i think, jamsport use the ecu alot, its very good value for money , the software is supposed to be very user friendly and simple to navigate round etc!

Speak to SI at Sitech col as I think hge used to run it.

yeah i phoned jamsport today they seemed pretty helpful

they are waiting on more units coming in

think im swaying that way to be honest

ive tried repling to your pm and also sending you some others and it says your name isnt valid,i dont know whats up as you sent me 1

Just thought we would pop on and offer a few words before spending out on the ecu if it seems like a deal!

Any ecus bought and destined for the uk or the rest of europe will have to be bought from ourselves, we are the european distributors for the system, this has been set p so we can offer support and technical advise to all our customers, however we can only offer this support and advise if the ecu was spec'd and bought from us.

Any enquiries made to any of the gotech dealers are forwarded to jamsport in order to keep the dealerships fair.

Each ECU is serial numbered so everyone knows where it has come from.

I hope this helps before people spend their hard earned cash.

the software is a free download and the comms lead is a simple lead, we dont lock the software so anyone can map it

I do have a 2 Gotech units on the shelf, but not a pro x.

I have used and Mapped Gotech for 3 years now.

col cos1: There was/is a guy his name is Sean username i think is: turboboss if you search for it. Good lad and am sure hes been using Go-tech on this 2.1 zvh frst running around 400bhp. He should have some good advice for you so i'd recommend emailing him for a piece of mind

LHD ZVH MK3 Escort will be running GoTech Pro..... and maybe the Zetec that's going in my Estate we've been fitting the past two days if the standard loom doesn't work
