a mate has got a VX220, and went to take it for a drive the other day and the batt was flat.
now he tells me that on them things, you have to take the dash out to get to the battery!
what a load of shit!
anyway, you can get to the altinator, so can you just waz the +ve on the that, and the -ve on the block and jump it?
or is there another way lol?
he ended up getting the AA out

either buy a fag lighter accessory plug and run some wires from it so you can put the clamps on, or find an old plugin torch or some tat you were bought for Xmas that was rubbish but had a 12v plug on it, cut the useless tat off and use the wires from that.
making sure the + - are round the right way first.
I did this on my old camper van, as I reversed it up to the garage door and couldn't get to the battery a year later when I wanted to move it

there are certain cars that you can't jump start as it fucks the electrits up so make sure it's not one of them
but there will be some +ve and -ve posts in the fuse box somewhere that you can use to do the same thing
in the vito's the battery is under the seat and you can see it but you can't actually get any clamps on because there isn't the space
