Default S1- Custom or Non Custom?

Which ones do you prefer? Im looking to buy one of either.

I was told the non - custom models do not sell due to no sun roof ect and enthusiasts do not regard them as S1 icons.

I had a custom model which i sold last year, I have a minter waiting for me next week but I have seen a custom model come up for sale which looks great.

Just wondered what people's veiws are on the Custom and Non custom Series 1's Rs topics are...!!

I think non-customs are probably rarer.

Value between the 2 will not vary much. Non-customs will be more highly sought-after be people who want to use them on track etc

I am by means no expert, but I thought all RSTs had opening rear quarter windows.

non custom is the way to go. rare, and in my opinion more intresting. once you have seen one S1 you have seen them all! a non customs that little bit special.

i had right problems when i restod my custom, replacement sunroof tray panels dont exist!

Id buy on condition against price, not whether it had a sunroof and a few other minor things. I even bought a non-custom that had a sunroof fitted because it was near mint and well priced.
