do you listen to your head or your heart?
i know what common sense tells me but there is a little devil inside me telling me to do otherwise!-bastard!
i had planned to buy a car to use mainly for track days and thus spec it to suit and have an nice everyday car alongside the cars i sell.....
all was going well as i had decided to buy an e36 m6 for sensible money and have a play with it-collecting it today.......
BUT AND ITS A BIG BUT
i bought a very nice sapphire cosworth at weekend with a nice spec,420 bhp harvey gibbs engine build, rebuilt gearbox, paddle clutch,t34,all polybushed,ap 6 pots, comps th2's.....its a really solid car that drives and goes really well.....one of those cossies you drive and think "thats nice"........last owner had it since 1996 and has spent a fortune on it....
the sensible side of me tells me to continue my original plan with the bmw as its going to be more reliable and rwd.....
but the devil in me tells me to keep the sapph and use that for the ford shows and track days......but i know there is always going to be a chance of something letting go on the cossie-especially the standard transmission!
BUT
i keep looking at the cossie and smiling to myself........
swore i would never own another cossie for myself-but now i just dont know.....

Although as you say its a lovely example i know your just not going to keep hold of it... You will always convince yourself there is a reason why it has to go..
