My latest fooking PET HATE.......
What really fucks me off is when you are looking for a holiday and not only do you get fucking hammered for supplements but they have you on the flight times too.
We were looking for holidays in Greece and it amazes me how many of these holidays see you arrive at your destination so late at night that you have lost the whole of the first day of your holiday, but not only that, one that we looked at had a return flight time of 05:00, which meant that not only would we leave the country at 05:00 on a day that we had paid for, but with having to be at the airport 2 hours before and with an hour or more transfer time from the resort, you would have to be in bed early the night before to prepare for the MEGA early get-up the next day.
Suddenly your 7-Day holiday becomes 5-Days!! It's a real piss-take.
In the end, we booked a private 2-Bedroom Villa with a private pool, flights with Easy Jet and are sorting car-hire out for a total cost of around the same as it would have cost to go on a package holiday for so-called 7-Days. We are actually getting around 10 full days too the way we are doing it.
We are also planning a City-break too, to Prague or somewhere like that and I have just looked at some of the flights on a particular offer and they arrive in Prague at 23.55!! So, for a 3-day break, you spend most of Day-1 in this country and the latter part travelling, before arriving at the destination airport with only 5-minutes of that first day remaining!!

Don't know why they don't just do a round trip where you get off the plane on one set of steps...get handed a few locally inspired wooden souveneirs and get put back on the plane up the other steps for Ł500 each

our flight from london was at 5 (took us 3hours to get there) then when we landed it was around 7ish, then collecting your cases....got to our villa at around 10...
and then when we flew it was at around the same time, so getting all the stuff ready and getting to the air port...
does take the piss a little!
