unlocking a k800i mobile
does anyone know how to do it without havinbg to pay 
jus got a phone and didnt know it was locked to orange
any ideas guys? codes or sumit?

I bought a new k800i from ebay a few months back on orange and thought i would get it unlocked for my o2 sim.....i took it the local phone shop and checked on the net,and was told that they have not devised a way to un lock these phones yet 
If that is still the case then you will have to do what i did and sell it,then buy one with the correct provider sorry to be the bearer of bad news

the k800i is an "old" phone replaced by the 810i which is now been replaced by the 850i,software has been available for unlock for ages?????
try a google search if you have the nowledge and a datacable its pretty easy,otherwise a back street shop could do it for a fiver-tenner
