More Sprinter help required
Hi Guys,
OK this is the problem I have with my 208d Sprinter (non-turbo). I turn the ignition on and I get no glo plug light on the dash. If I crank it over eventually the van will start so its obvious the glo plugs are not coming on. But then after the engine is running the bloody glo plug light comes on and stays on for about 30 seconds and then it goes off.
I thought it was the Glo plug relay, but I have changed that now and there is no difference.
As anyone got any ideas????
Thanks,
Sean..

pull the plug from the glow plug relay, and under the plug the terminals will be numbered, now attach your test light to a positive feed and probe the plug. The test light should illuminate each pin you probe, if it does not illuminate, check what number you are probing and hey presto, thats what plug is faulty
