quickest way to transfer files from pc to pc?
As i cant get it to work
so heres a diagram for the pc experts ( not to scale so the 2 pcs aint 2cm appart! )
Do i need something else?

External HardDrive is a godsend. I got a viao one off ebay last year for £65 or something. 120gb, USB2.0 and all that. Great piece of kit.
Copied most of the data on my pc onto it as soon as i got it, then make backups every few months.
Ideal for taking round a mates to watch films or to a party to supply thousands of tunes etc, best money ive ever spent on PC stuff i rekon

I think your best bet is the external hard drive, not only will you achieve this task but it will come in handy for backing up important info should anything bad happen

can allways leave it transfering over night
and external hdds can go bad too
