Off in to work for 1530 to fill out masses of paperwork, been taken off driving due to nearly killing 2 kids last night. I honestly thought I hit them as one of them dissapeared out of view below the windscreen line

Just departed Skipton on the 1815 to Leeds, got upto 45mph (line speed at that location) and then took power for the 60 mph speed change, saw 2 kids out of the corner of my eye wearing all black run directly infront of the train about 10 yards infront of me.

Threw the brake into emergency, swung on the horn and saw one of them dissapear under the front of the unit out of view.

When the train stopped (which seemed to take forever) about 150 yards later, (with the horn still blaring as I was frozen solid in my seat), I was just sat there shaking like a shitting dog with the DSD bleeping away and the horn blaring

Went back to examine the line on foot and found nothing, thankfully, contacted controlling signaller and told of the situation, then made a wrong direction move and took the train back into Skipton and then went pass to Leeds on a different train and started filling out paperwork etc etc.

Anyway, I best get ready and go in

Train? im sorry mate i just automatically assumed you meant in the car

Its beyond words how kids can do it though, knowing they would mentally scare the driver etc

the garden area in general is a bit of a mess, not having had any attentionpaid to it over the past few months so it needs to be cleaned

patio at both ends
fence panels
weeds
leaves raked up
pine cones from the tree
pine needles from the tree

etc

so washing the garden

although i probably would have been better using the words "cleaning" the garden instead

didn't go for a ride in the end - i took advantage of the good weather to also do a bit of washing of my garden i trimmed my bush as it had become overgrown and unruly and was climbing all over the garage wall and blocking the path.

that is the exciting life i lead - i bet you all wish that was how you rolled?
