No i bought it 420bhp with loads of engine mods, took the motor out got it rebuilt etc for £1800 bought a t4 for £700, inlet £250. All the other bits are on the car already so i just have the injector and mapping to pay for, o and a new engine loom.
Lets put it this way i wont be spending 30k on my ford sierra

i bought my car as a shell been sat in a drive for 5 years
the reason its got up to that kind of cash is ive replaced everything needed and had to rebuild engine twice due to a dodgy oil pump
its got proper brakes and suspension
and an expensive reg number
+loads of labour charges and theres no doubt in my mind it be 500+bhp on the rolling roads down south
and i dont regret spending on the car so id appreciate unless youve got anything constructive to say on this thread about inlet manifolds
fuk off and wind someone else up

Hows about lightening up billy big balls.
If you look on the first page i sujested the SiB inlet which is pretty constructive given the topic were talking about.

i have no breather attached to the plenum......breathers both sides of the block go into a seperator which returns oil below oil level, and vents to atmosphere ,how the hell can that get oil in the plenum
as in blocked in the above post,i was refering to the kidney box to plenum pipe the 4x4s have

The garage19 ones are the best ones available IMHO, the reason being they are welded to the manifold not bolted, in every other respect they are the same as the swedish ones mike sells (same thickness metal and same curved shape)
They are 180 quid IIRC, and they also save you have to buy a plenum cover gasket, not to mention the fact it then guarentees you will NEVER need to buy a plenum cover gasket again, or ever be let down by one failing.
Si B's ones are essentially the same as a swedish one from Mike, but are made in stainless which is easier to keep polished and minty looking than ally.

Si B is larger, it was only the garage19 one i was saying was the same size (or near as damn it)
I take it richies turbo seals have gone to get that much oil in the plenum?

I've got the Mikey R one on mine, with the junction box sitting jus below the map sensor !
Very nice workmanship, jus couldn't work out what the big pipe on the junction box was for so blanked it off !
Was told tho, by a "top" tuner when he was gonna map my car (didn't like the welded diff, bald tyres, extremly low suspension etc ) that the feed pipe & junction box was NOT a good idea as there would be a time delay in all the vacuum pipes gettin pressure etc & that I should get the bottom of the inlet tapped for all the outlets to come off there !
Thought it a bit strange @ 1st but glad I didn't do anything bout it now after reading this !

Please note that our one is £380 INCLUDING delivery, comes with the remote vacuum take-off block and fittings (so no contamination of MAP sensor etc), new inlet manifold gasket, bolts AND throttle cable bracket. The design has also been tested and developed on an engine dyno / flow bench, so delivers almost equal air to each cylinder (less than 2% variance).
