Default Current price of having an L8 converted by RP labs

I have just put my RP Labs converted L8 ECU up for sale:

https://passionford.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=314032

In the ad ive tried to take a guess at the actual value of a current conversion from a standard L8 to a RP Labs one, can anyone give me info if they have had a recent quote though, so I can update it to be as accurate as possible.

Cheers

I simply dont need it, since nitrousing the 3door ive no intention of ever changing turbo spec or cams or anything, its spot on for how I want it, and I have a L8 ECU chip from Stu that runs it perfectly and ive done the coilpack conversion on that ECU too anyway.

Ive enjoyed playing with the RP Labs stuff, but it just doesnt offer anything that I need currently, so I may as well get my money back on it to spend on something else I have more use for.

CORRECT mate.

THIS https://passionford.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=314032 is the for sale post, in the correct section and added by a gold member, all in line with the rules.

This post is merely a post to try and help me make my advert more accurate, although your comments have made me realise that perhaps this post will also form part of an unwitting marketing campaign as a side effect that may in turn increase the number of people who visit my forsale post HERE:

So if I buy RP lab Map Editor software for remapping I can't use it on my L8 ECU? I only need another L8 ECU from RP lab?

you cant use it on a standard ECU no, of course not mate, as they are not reprogrammable by ANY means other than a chip change.

You need an L8 specifically modified to allow it to be updated, like the one I have for sale currently.

Wow, they have managed to bring the price of that down a lot now then, good news for the scene, although not so good news for me selling mine.

Although obviously that doesnt include VAT or the Cable, but even still thats a MASSIVE improvement on the prices.

I'll drop the price of mine to 500 then to make sure its still a couple of hundred quid cheaper, I didnt realise they had pounds prices on the site now, cheers for that

Yip but thats without the drivers for coil packs...thats extra so that takes it upto £540 then the price of the ecu....£150-£200 at the min.....so still not that bad of a price.......

And no hastle off sending it off to get done...

Oh yeah, even better value than I realised then
Although as an L8 is going for it would seem on average 250 ish right at the moment (with traders typically wanting 280+ postage) and the fact that 450 doesnt include postage to and from europe, that still makes it an 800+ total price, so 500 for mine is a bargain still by any standards IMHO so wont be dropping the price again, TBH if I dont get that much for it, id sooner just keep it in case I ever want one again myself at some point, so no sense in letting it go for pennies as im in no rush to shift it.
