If it's being used on the road, I wouldn't.

My old mini was stripped and just had a centre dash. Was a fun little car. Depends what you want it for really everyday?

If its just for beating about in and getting onto track once in a while and you don't care what people think, then do it

you dont have to, you'll still have the window heaters....

or you could buy some tube ducting and just mount then where you need heat, direct from the old heater position.

arrr i c..

hmmm im in two minds at the moment on what to do..

i mean the weather is only going to get better now, wouldnt mind it like it in the summer etc.

i realy dont know why it wont go in without cutting the dash to be honest as i dont think its ment to.

i could just trim the sides off the dash and fit it that way but not sure if its just going to look rough!

its not like it wont go in!

as it unbolts etc..

the rear and diagonal is in place just needs drilling and bolting in, but wating till the door bars and roof bars are in place...

the window screen bar goes into place but the door bars and roof bars wont go into place, they seem to long, so the rear part has been pushed right back as it should be, and the window screen part is pushed right up against the dash...

heres how it looks....

ive got about 2" left on the roof bars, so the window screen part needs to go forward...

If you ratchet strap the rear legs together on either side will it not give you the ability to angle the rear half slightly to just give you a bit of room to force the bars in?

The very last thing you should do is bolt it down

Get everything connected first
