Testing at Brands this morning , couple of pics ...
Right assortment for the cars first outing , minis to Sports 2000's and everything in between . Damp to start with so slithered around a bit unable to get any data until 2nd session when i got the hammer down , went really well , good traction , brakes a bit iffy still , suspension and handling are perfect to begin with . The noise from the diff and the box are outrageous , flat out in 5th down the main straight and able to accelerate out of Paddock , never really been able to do that before . Some good flames out the back into Druids too ive been told .
Was just shakedown testing really , playing , surprised when my Wife ( holding the stop watch ) told me the fastest lap was under half a second slower than my best time in the last car DURING a Race !!

If thats all i have to worry about im a happy man
The lights will be coming out next season when the sun shines, just the last 2 races of the season , you would n't believe how dark it was 1st thing this morning !

October 23rd at Silverstone stowe . I will be changing the diff for the GP Race at Brands on Nov 20th tho .....Ive a bloody headache from the 4.8 and the rest of the noises from it , no rubber anywhere on this car , all rose joints and solid bolted .

if so you look a little diff to the last pic i saw ! i think it must be the hair
and i agree about the diffs and box , mines the same , as soon as you go to a big cut on the cwp the noise increase is massive !!

Saint , yeah that was me , Martin Spotted me too !! Cant keep anything a secret round here can we
The old centrelocks were fucked, magnesium doesn't last well and the wheels had severe cracks , the hubs weren't up to the job ,anyway i wanted to build an authentic Club GpA car , ive no time for air jax and bottle trolleys give me a 4 stud wheel anyday .
The bumper does have a slight twist on it , youve gotta have eagle eyes to spot it tho !
Cheers for the positive comments lads, this drew quite a crowd in the paddock even tho there was much more expensive machinery there, the draw of a Cosworth i guess .
