Hi everyone!
I've just purchased a second hand S8 ECU
But when I try to establish the communication I get a message telling me that I need to upgrade the ECU
I sent an e-mail to SECS but as Simon seems to have stopped is business I was wondering if anyone could have saved this firmware and could send it by email..

My software version is 8021-x/100

The hardware version is H/W: 15400-COSV05
The ECU Software version is S/W: S8ECU-8015-F

I guess I need an ECU software version S8ECU–8021-x

I can do nothing else

Hi, I am Simon in case you didnt know. (Designer of the S8)

A friend just called to tell me about this thread as I havent been using the net recently.

I dont know what email address you used but this is the correct one below.

Send me an email here..... simon@s8ecu.co.uk

Please enclose the the serial number of the ECU and I will email you back
the latest version compatiable for your unit in a few days.

Why banning him
I heard about this hacker thing but what does it change he could have wanted to answer? and he can still create another profile...
But first of all he could have mind my files
I guess this other story won't help
