its a silver top, series 2 zetec, if that makes a difference lol

I've got one that came off a 1.8, works ok. I got it to eliminate a fault on mine which turned out to be a knackered jubilee clip causing an air leak.
Number on it is- 93BB-12B579-BA.

where was your air leak, as thatd the sort of fault im getting, but cant find it lol, its intermitent to

Ive got a DEEP ECU and MAF sensor turning up because ive fitted a 2.0 zetec in my festa and it starts and runs but when the revs drop off it cuts out. Hopefully the right ECU and MAF will cure this

what ecu you got now,

youve prob got anair leak, or need to adjust your idle, as if your using a auto tb like i am, they need adusting lol

The air leak was on the intake pipe where it connects to the throttle body. The hose clip wasn't tightening down enough so I replaced it with a genuine jubilee which was also wider.

I don't know whether you've seen this site before but it's quite usefull.
