track day groups...
what groups are there for a track day as i want to use my mk4 when its done as a little track day toy for some fun but dont want to be pissed on by all the cossies etc...
its only going to be either a
1.8/2.0 zetec with exhaust and k&n...
or a 1.6 cvh, with some minor head work, 4-2-1 manifold and exhaust and k&n...
whats the best group to go in to suite me?

Yes the very same "open pit lane" as in you pay just one fee, then go out on track as often and as long as you want and at your own speed !!
What a bargain

if the trackday isn't open pit, go in novice, and use your mirros A LOT
as you will be new to track, other people even novices will be fast, so use your MIRRORS
make sure you have ZERO oil leaks and brakes and suspension is up to the job.
and TYRES, and tyre pressures are correct for conditions
check you have enough oil and water too
then take ya time, it's not a race, and make sure you do warm up laps and cool down laps, it helps the car recover

think im just going to get some s2 front brakes or cossys if some come up...
i want it to be low still but handle better than chopped springs obviously, so might go for 60mm springs and uprated shocks (peoples opinions please as is 60mm to low for the track or is it ok)
