Yes the car had a smash when it was in Hong Kong. As far as i have been able to find out then it was brought to Australia for scrap. So it can not be fully road registered, however there may be a licence i can get called Class B rally, then i can drive it to events and to test/ repair garages. That will be fun.
when i got it i stripped out all the interior and down to a bare shell, all the bits are up the attic Most, just being kept for spares for the road car.
All the up-rated bits i bought over the years to go on the road car are now going on this beast.

That's just the rules. It was only allowed to be imported under that rule. I hope it can be road registered but I will have to wait and see.

bit of a small update, been really busy with house Reno,s and stuff. Car took a back seat for a while, looking at getting all the rest of the stuff to finish it off very soon, on its way to get a new heated windscreen.

I have finally got 2 pallets of parts being shipped out from the UK these parts have been collecting dust in other peoples garages for a few years, i would like to thank them for there patience, they know who they are. So now hopefully when they arrive i can actually start again on the build.
