Default starting your own business, advice>? any business owners?

Ok, I am totally fucked off working for other people,

My last 2 jobs ended by company closing the branch i worked at, the other by it going bust.|
Now i got people basicly bullying me at work, pulling my hair etc, tried to sort this out but.... the boss even said my hair was a bit on the long side and i should cut it etc.

I am an excelent cook, and worked as a teenager in my fathers restataunt back home in finland, really enjoyed this,
I want to start my own businees, restaraunt. i will need to get a loan from the bank for this,
So i guess i need to make a business plan?? not really sure on what to do?
i know i need to find the cost of renting a premersis, equptment, costs,
just dont know how to make profit projections as you cantr garantee customers.\

anyone whos done this beofre etc, who can offer help please do.

You could go to the bank and speak to them, they'll give you a pack for starting your own business that'll tell you all you need to know. They even give you a thick book to read on the subject.

The bank will want you to put at least 50% in of your own money to secure your commitment as such.

Sorry, but if you are being bullied at your current job i doubt you are assertive enough to run your own business in the big bad world.

Setup a limited company to minimize your losses, and helps with VAT and the like, thats my main advice!
Any questions pm me, as although i'm in the property game, the missus has set up, and owns a few businesses, so she will no doubt be able to answer them.

First of all i have never started my own business, but i know a close friend who has, he over spent at the start, and wasnt geting enough work, its not all about getting a loan, you have gotta make a plan for yourself to stick to, do the best job you can to keep customers happy, and keep to your own budgets!

This all sounds so obvious but alot of people f*** up just on the easier parts of running there business!

Good luck

Unfortunately I 100% agree.

If you were to bullied in business then your losses could include your home!

I have worked with some very successful women and they would never sugest that something was unfair "because it was men".

Most of them would quite happily tear strips off five grown blokes in a business / construction environment.
