look simillar but far better quality

you don't have much fear of stripping them when tightening them

Mikalor arent good....

I use T-Bolt clamps from the US...although someone in the UK might sell them.
They seal perfectly, and clamp hard.

Mikalar and other clamps or the similar design are not any good for boost hoses, But good for Exhausts if St/St.

i tried many different designs on my cossie, as 50psi boost leak tests just seems to find leaks/faults in most.

The best i have found are Hi torque St/St J clips, but make sure the worm thread doesn't stick thro the clamp as this will damage the hose.

Murray clips get my vote too, absolutely awesome fasterners

Its what my mate Neil is using on his westifeld ive been helping him with the engine on.

They are as easy to use as a jubilee clip but with a much more even spread of pressure around the pipe.

Quite expensive, but given how few you need on a cossie, its not really an issue IMHO

Could my car's hunting at idle be caused by my mikalor clamps leaking ????

I've also just had my turbo rebuilt and Vince did ask my if i had any hoses come off because the blades looked worn usually caused by overboost

Again could Mikalor clamps be to blame?

Glad people are finally realising Mikalor's are shit. I got shot down when I dared to suggest this 3 or 4 years ago.

Quite possibly, I personally hate them although so far the ones I inherited with some stuff I bought and ended up using when I was short of decent clips havent actually for me personally, but I know plenty of people who have had problems.

What D/V are you using though, as that could be leaking too of course.

Tried it with and without the d/v Chip and still hunts.

It only started after i changed all my hoses and fitted my coil pack conversion.
