Use a dremmel with a soft brush in it to remove all the paint on the back of the badge.
Paint in the FORD word as you like, stick a piccie on the back!!
When you have removed all the paint use a buffing mop on the rear of the badge to buff LIGHTLY with soap, and this will get it spotlessly clear ready for above steps.

Daviet, no probs, just be uber careful when polishing with mop as plastic melts so easy, and if like me you put on too much soap, it flies off into your eyes, I was too manly (read THICK+ STUPID) to wear the goggles.
100mph soap stings, I cried like a baby!!
