would this aftect how my car would hit max boost ??

would i be better getting my car re mapped ???

Unlikely to make a dramatic difference, but if you gave us a clue as to what car it is, what IC you had before and what IC you have now, we might be able to offer more advice, as right now this thread is gayer than being fisted by graham norton while you suck off dale winton.

it doesnt have any affect on boost pressure, just makes the air cooler, more dense, more air in smaller space = more power

its an evo 4 with a standard cooler at set to spike at 1.4 bar

looking at getting a pro alloy cooler or one of that spec

looking at getting a pro alloy cooler or one of that spec

Wont need a remap, and wont make it any laggier (not enough to notice anyway) mate IME of these cars and similar.

Is an uprated IC needed at that power? Always thought Evo ICs are good till silly power, or maybe thats just the later ones?

Well. on a hot enough day its still slightly useful, but yeah generally I agree with you, turbo is more limited than the IC

im not sure mate im new to the evo world, but my cooler is looking tatty and the misses has agreed to buy me a new one

have u upgraded the ecu yet? i hear the cams are pants on the evo4's aswell? id upgrade these first and the turbo befor eu go getting a bigger cooler..?!
