Took today off as I have to wait at home for a few deliveries, was up at 8am as they said "8am-6pm", now ive been sat here for hooooours, and only BT have shown up, and are now in the process of ripping up the street outside.

One down....just Argos to go....taking forever, I have to go out this afternoon too

 

8 till 6 means anytime between then mate, fair enough if it was before 10:30am U can chase them, otherwise they will tell you it will be delivered anytime upto 6pm! Argos home delivery? Good luck, have heard they aint all that reliable?!

 

Know the feeling mate, Im waiting on a Courier Company to come collect a parcel, so I can't go anywhere and I need to get up the bank so I can pick up a 2wd Cossie tonight

 

i tell all of them to give me a ring 20mins before they are due to arrive and then i go home to receive it!!

cant remember last time I had to wait in for stuff?

 

Problem is I need to go into cardiff city centre, which is about 30-40mins depending on traffic and where i park. Looks like ill take my chances n go into down, leave a note on the door asking them to leave it in the garage.....doubt they will tho

 

write the note so that they can't take it with them.

as if it aint there and you put leave in garage etc then you may have problem if it aint there and they say it is.

ask a neightbour maybbe

 

Takes the piss doesn't it. Me + my missus were waiting all morning for a new bed to be delivered, it arrived reasonabaly on time. We then started assembling it + the twats had sent 2 'head' ends. Took numerous arguements with the company all day with questions like 'are you sure they're both the same height' for them to tell us late afternoon that it wouldn't be rectified on that day, so we wasted a whole day, cheers!!
