1. is there any books or training DVDs i can buy to expand my vocubulary? to help me find alternative/posh ways of saying things instead of a dumb sounding simple way if you get my drift. im about to start in the property business as a commercial letting agent and ive let my speech slip over the past 2-3 years into a terrible slang ridden garble! lol
2. i start on monday = no more ridiculous mupper threads as i wont have internet access
maybe thats a good thing lol
cheers!

It may be not very popular thing but.... you must read books and I mean reall book, literature. It really helps, whichever language you want to speak better, including your native one.

Starting reading some decent books. Some of the 'classics' from back in the day will show you how to talk like a proper toff, and you can tone it done for contempoary society. Also a broadsheet like the times or telegraph should help cos they're always poncing it up!
Also i'd say watch some films like the BBC's production of Pride and Predjudice. Lots of poncey phrases and stuff in there. I used to 'borrow' some when talking to my managers at my old job if they'd ever pissed me off about anything. They'd look at me like i was bit weird, but it always unsettled them to be using eloquent prases and words they weren't quite sure about.

For a start, stop reading PF
Also, keep away from skanky women! My ex was from the roughest area around here for miles
and spoke a different language i.e. the number 3 was pronounced fwee
, needless to say my vocab has slipped too.
Ditch your skanky mates and women like I have....I'm now a billy no mates & single
