Computer Techies - Anyone using Vonage?
GF is moving into a new house this month and asked me to sort out the Tv, internet, telephone side of things.
Looked at a combination of packages and found the cheapest solution is to go for telewest cable broadband and sign up for vonage voip at £9.99 per month free unlmited local and national calls anytime. (and then sky for tv). - essentially means she doesnt need a phoneline nor have to pay any line rental!
Only issue im concerned about is reliability. Obviously the service is dependant on a relaible always on connection from telewest. But how does the vonage network hold up? Any problems?

Every household will have different quality due to line speeds, wiring quality etc.
In general though, Vonage are a decent enough service provider, just depends on the broadband upload speeds you receive and the quality of the line.
Can but try really.
