not my fault
the gridlock on the boston manor road up by the tube station this morning
someone decided that their side of the road wasn't good enough so tried to drive down the other side
unfortunalty one of our vans just happened to be occupying that bit of tarmac and it all became fairly messy
pics up in a bit, right now i'm off to have a lie down

last night another one went down with ignition problems
and this morning the hire company lost the keys for the van they were bringing to replace that on
so, all in all, a shit start to the morning
only home now so i can take the pics off the phone and send them up to show what happened, but it's fairly clear who hit who and where etc
the other drivers was in his slippers and about 70

went and looked at the landie earlier on as it was still sitting there
it's basicly plastic panels that have gone on the bodywork side of things, but then you look further and the doors fucked on it's piller
and what sort of impact do you think they shuold be able to withstand out in the desert if a little shunt can rip a wheel clean off?
on the other hand, it looks like it's just a case of replacing the bent bits as the chassis leg is still looking nice and straight
just spent 41 minnutes on the phone to the insurance company who have said that a ford garage is not apporved by them for the repairs so they are collecting teh van to go somewhere else
and that glass isn't covered on our policy so that'll have to get sorted somewhere else
twats
and they said they'd call back tommorow to get the full drivers details
even I haven't got them because he's doped up on pain killers last i heard, damn call centre staff twats

The Freelander in that shape has probably one of the worst NCAPS ratings for a 4x4! Not nice to twisted metal about on the roads, but glad everyone walked away from it alive

life's an adventure, enjoy it enough to write about it if you need to reflect on what you've done with your time here
if they all turn out boring then fair enough, i've had too much action when i was younger so this is the boring bit's time to shine

don't tell me he's done a chip at the ring in one
Magic Numbers
how do 4x4's compare to normal cars in these tests? obviously worse yes but do they come up against each other that often?
and would you rather of been in the connect or the landi in that scenario?
the connect seems to have buckled quite well to absorb the impact whereas the landie seems to have taken all the impact in bits that fell off and then carried on up the road
