i do that - but i don't think it's anything more sinister than just a preference and a habit

 

i repeatedly check my face in the mirror, for one reason only though, i have a fear of talking to someone with a massive snot hanging halfway out my nostril (like school teachers always did)

i also wake every morning with a song going round and round in my head. im not particularly into music and some of the songs are weird, never heard them in ages or even like them.

 

does anyone else get that one where you get a song in your head (one that you maybe haven't heard for years) and then put the radio on and the song is playing?

 

The only thing I do is check doors before I go to sleep but thats mostly because my other half has been known to leave things unlocked, also during the day if im upstairs and i hear a noise I keep thinking someones opened the door, sometimes i have to go and lock it.

My girlfriend cant stand the duvet cover to be on the wrong way, e.g the bit with the poppers been at the side instead of the bottom, she also goes on cleaning frenzys in the middle of the night because she cant sleep till its done. I wind her up on purpose.

 

Oh and i annoy the hell out of my partner by constantly rubbing my feet together

 

This deserves a bump. The other ocd thread made me come back and read all this again. It has taken a while but WELL worth a read!

 

i have to delete my all my text messages and call log cause it bugs me if its not clear.
i my emails have to be read and deleted and deleted box clear.
i clear all cookies, websites and all that shite every night.
have to delete anything on sky planner if ive watched it.
my folders on the laptop have to be tidy and clear of things i dont need.
folders on my desktop have to be a minimum.
have to clean the bathroom after ive had a shower/bath
i will throw anything away ive not looked at or used for about a month.
i keep wiping my mouth when eating with other people incase i look like a 2yr old.
i have to have my mobile in my left pocket and keys in the right.
my room has to be tidy all the time.

loads of others i just cant remember

 

well After reading this I am fucking normal.
you guys need to get to a fucking doctor with a white coat and you need to put on those back to front jackets on.

If the house needs a tidy I will tidy it, I don't count to fucking 7 all the time(doctor needed here), I am very chilled, never over think things, unless its a problem at work and I have to double check things in my mind. I don't give a contental fuck if the can of soup is the wrong why round.

Yup! Me too! No matter where i am, if the toilet roll isnt laying over the top, i will take it off, and turn it round!

Also, whenever im sat on the loo, no matter where i am, i will tear 2 or three pieces of paper off, and clean the toilet roll holder! Without fail EVERY time i go to the toilet!

Yup! And if there is more than one, i salute and say 'hello mr magpie hows your wife and children'

I dont do this, but i genuinely found it funny!

I think thats actually quite sweet! Everything has to have a buddy!

Not only that, i have to pack the trolley properly aswell! Fruit n veg has to be in one area, meat in another, chilled in another, toiletries in another.....

Im the same! I will try and make a word out of all the letters!

Nope me neither! I HAVE to leave a little bit of tea in the bottom, through fear of drinking any scale, or teabag dust or... i dont know i just leave it!

BINGO! whenever i drive a car, i will make sure all the headrests are down and tolted before i can drive it! Even if its only 100 meters down the road!

Apart from that...

I HAVE to put anything away at night before i go to bed, i cant have clothes laying about or towels left out... everything HAS to be put away!

I cant settle until ive washed up after tea! And 'normally' i will try and clean up as much as possible while im cooking! But straight after tea i have to wash up before i can chill out!

 

If you like ironing as well, you can move in any time you like .

 

I always wipe the toilet seat with a bit of toilet paper before I have a shit because:

A. To get rid of any piss that some dirty fecker pissed on the seat

and

B. You don't get a wet arse when a huge lump hits the water at the bottom.

I have loved reading this thread.... it wasnt till i started reading it that i realised i did loads of these things, i.e. the toilet roll, making words out of number plates or just memorising them completely, i leave tea in my cup but i dont do it with coffee, there loads more too lol..

John's worst one is lining the vents up in the cars he hates it if i've been driving and i've moved any lol

got loads of things what people have said already:

volume with even numbers, but i allow 5-10-15 etc cos its in the middle,
when i was younger, if i was playing football for example i would kick the ball with my left foot but would have to kick it with my right foot to make it even.
Got to have the vents in the car all striaght and in line.
check the time on my phone every 2 mins.
