Default What Do You Do? (Tyre Fitting)

Sorry for another question, but Im looking to expand my business as you never know when things may go wrong (Especially in this recession). Im looking for a fall back plan (Incase my work dry's up) and in the future when things get better I wanna move into full time.

How many people on here purchase tyres from the net and get them fitted locally or buy them from a tyre dealer and have them fitted?

Im looking at tyre machines, but not sure if I should bother with getting dealers accounts with manufacturers or just fit tyres supplied by customers (I haven't got room to store tyres). I personally would buy tyres from the net (As often they are cheaper) and fit them myself.

Would people pay Ł30 (Ł20 if you have wheels removed) per set to have tyres fitted and balanced 7 days a week or even evenings? or would you just go to the cheapest place that fits tyres?

(Would also help me bro sae alot of cash on tyre fitting )

Ł20 for 4 is what I usually pay that includes balancing, thats dropping the 4 wheels and tyres that have to be fitted off at the tyre fitters!

I would rather give my money to a m8/friend who had the machine to do such tasks, i have voted accordingly.

I have a mate that works for Quick Fit so i buy online or in group buys and he fits them for Ł5 a corner. Its good to have someone you trust so your wheels dont get damaged. I have black mo's and wouldnt want them marking. Years ago before my mate was at quick fit my wheel came back with paint missing on the edge.

i buy off the net then take them to either a mate that works at a tyre place or the local part worn shop if he aint about. Both charge Ł5 a corner which includes them taking the wheels off the car if need be.
