saw one on the road yesterday for the first time in about 20 years i reckon. looked mint as well.
would love one to swap the running gear from my impreza wrx into - is that possible?

remember seeing one of those down the scrap yard couple of months ago, was badly rotton.
dont see many about these days, would be see that conversion done aswel, would be on par with a P100 with a yb conversion

Haven't seen one of those for yonks, my old farrier had one, it went on for years

Every farmer cunt on earth round here has one still it seems, there honestly FIVE in the nearest scrapyard to me right now.
And yes, Impreza/Legacy stuff goes in no problem, twin cam (rather than quad cam) flat 4 engine and similr 4wd setup as standard.
And yes, they nice shape/looking pickups TBH, like a mini El Camino Brumbys fucking rule, I fancy saving one from the scrappers as a new project.

Stavros i live in the m4 corridor - there are no fucking farms around here. only shit hole towns like slough, reading, bracknell etc.
i come from norfolk though, and the farm where i lived used to have these, but they got wrecked pretty quickly. that was 15 or 20 years ago though, and i don't think i had seen one since then until saturday
if you know of any that are tidy enough bodywork wise but mechanically fucked, i would be very interested
