If its just a adaptor plate then its not really much of a job for any machinist.

If its a fully custom bellhousing then I expect it will be a little bit more tricky and expensive.

My mates cossy transit ran a adaptor plate on the block to allow a transit gearbox to fit

Make sure who you get to make it gets the dowel position perfect for the engine and the gearbox or you will kill the input shaft bearing very quickly.

The engine to gearbox plate was the simple bit

The homemade 3" offset lightweight flywheel took a week to make in the lathe though

The car has killed many a scooby scalp out on the stages Al, so that would have been a backward step

And its still running, dosnt chew gearboxes or blow engines to bits for fun

What material did you use for the flywheel ?

I used P20 tool steel

http://www.crucibleservice.com/datas...TOKEN=23312534

We use it a lot at work but it is a PITA to machine and took me plenty of hours to make

Engine to gearbox adaptor is the easy bit "IF" you have accurate dimensions to work from
