The engine to gearbox plate was the simple bit

The homemade 3" offset lightweight flywheel took a week to make in the lathe though

The car has killed many a scooby scalp out on the stages Al, so that would have been a backward step

And its still running, dosnt chew gearboxes or blow engines to bits for fun
What material did you use for the flywheel ?

I used P20 tool steel

We use it a lot at work but it is a PITA to machine and took me plenty of hours to make

Engine to gearbox adaptor is the easy bit "IF" you have accurate dimensions to work from
